I first met Ken through a mutual friend when I started indoor climbing at Planet Granite. Ken is an incredible climber and an all around super smart guy. It’s pretty amazing to see him climb 5.11’s and even some 5.12’s (for those of you who don’t know, that’s pretty darn amazing :P). After a while, Ken brought Gayle along on our weekend climbing adventures. Gayle is super sweet, has an amazing smile, and plans some of the coolest parties ever. For Ken’s birthday this past year, she planned a surprise boat cruise on the San Francisco bay!
They had gotten married back home in Pennsylvania but wanted to host a wedding reception for their friends here in California in the beautiful Half Moon Bay, at Sam’s Chowder House. The weather had been a bit gloomy the past week but the day was absolutely gorgeous!
If you’d like to host an event at Sam’s Chowder House, please contact Danielle Lawrence, the director of special events, at 650 712-0245 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Can you guess what Gayle’s favorite color is?I had arrived early to scope out the area but Gayle and Ken were early too! I love getting couples together before guests arrives so they can enjoy some time together.
The food was provided by Sam’s Chowder House. The staff did an excellent job of preparing and displaying the food professionally and taking care of guests!I absolutely LOVE corn.
