I bet you’re all wondering: “What the heck is a naked suit?!”
Back in January, I had the exciting opportunity to shoot for an up-and-coming suit company called Naked Suits. They’re targeting the active lifestyle: creating full-custom suits that resist stains, beads off water, protects against UV rays and uses breathable materials for all-day comfort. So I thought… why not test this out? The Bay Area is definitely the place where a nice suit could be challenged by sweat, rain, dirt and sunshine! So that’s exactly what we did at and around a beach overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge.
Our models Orion and Albert (one of the founders of Naked Suits) were great to work with, especially when it began raining and we kept shooting for another hour. By the time we were done, I was more soaked than the models in their water-resistant suits! Look for the water droplets on the suits in the last photo!
